By renting studio renter agrees to Studio Rental Agreement:

Term:

Studio hereby provides a limited and revocable license for use of the Studio located at 42/43 Prussia Street, Dublin / 57 Lower Gardiner Street, Dublin at the time of photography studio rent established by 50Hz Photography and renter. Rental rates are set by the most current version of the Rental Rate Sheet in effect at the time of signing.

Length of use:

Rental periods are pre arranged at the time of booking. Renter’s rental time begins promptly at the designated starting time and ends promptly at the designated ending time. Time includes set up and break down. Studio must be cleaned and vacated by the end of the rental period. No prior drop off and/or pick up after completion of shoot, of equipment, props, etc. unless negotiated at time of rental contract. Additional fees may apply.

Payment:

Payment can be made by cash, card or PayPal and is due upon completion of rental time period. Payment by card or PayPal is subject to 3% booking fee. Payment must be made in full if booking is canceled with less than 24hrs notice.

Studio use:

Studio may be used for photography, videography or similar, with the exception of those activities that require, but are not limited to, the use of specialized ventilation, chemicals or flammable props. Studio may be used only for legal business activities. There NO SMOKING policy applied in the studio or on the building premises. You are ONLY allowed to use cigarettes or cigars if they are part of photoshoot plan. Renter is responsible for cleanup of smoking related debris (ashes, cigarettes, etc.) before leaving. Renter is also responsible to ensure that all windows are open if any form of smoke is used during photoshoot. Studio is equipped with smoke alarm. The Renter will not make (or allow to be made) any noise or nuisance which, in the reasonable opinion of the Studio, disturbs the comfort or convenience of others.

Electrical Usage:

Studio rental fee is based on the use of strobe lighting. If hot lights are used there will be an additional power usage fee charged.

Equipment Supplied:

Studio agrees to provide equipment in good working order, but makes no special guarantees as to said equipment’s functionality or suitability to Renter’s purposes. 50Hz is not liable for acts out of its control that affect the shoot, such as power outages, weather or emergencies. In such cases, Studio will refund a prorated portion of Renter’s payment.

Lightning Assistance / Introduction Lesson:

Studio will be available to provide professional assistance with lightning design and studio lighting use for €90 per hour (+ 13.% VAT). Studio can provide on renter request short (30mins) introduction to lighting system course for €45 (+13.5% VAT)

Damage of Equipment/Studio:

The renter agrees to pay for any repair or replacement costs of equipment, studio or prints that he/she damages. In the event that the renter’s assistant/s or model/s damages any equipment, he/she agrees to pay for any repairs necessary. Any damage or equipment failure ascertained before photoshoot must be immediately reported to: info@50hzphotography.ie or by text to 087 219 9151 / 087 702 8674. Renter agrees to leave the studio in the condition it was found or a €50 cleaning fee may be assessed.

Other fees:

€50 fee for extra cleaning | €50 disposal of unusual amounts of trash created from renter and Studio use | €10 loss of door opening tag

Renter declare possession of Public Liability Insurance for all persons, models or employees on premises before use of Studio.

The Renter will provide proof of such insurance to the Studio upon request. 50Hz Photography or Gazeta Limited (building owner) will not be held liable for any injuries or accidents to either the renter, renter’s assistants, renter’s models, or renter’s clients that occur within or outside the studio premises. The Renter is hereby advised and understands that the personal property of the Renter is not insured by the 50Hz Photography neither Gazeta Limited for either damage or loss, and the Renter assumes no liability for any such loss. The renter agrees to use models of legal age (>18 years old) when using the studio space or require a parent or guardian on site. The Renter agrees that he/she is fully responsible for ensuring the validity of age verification the model produces. The Renter agrees that he/she cannot hold 50Hz Photography or Gazeta Limited liable in the case of an invalid ID or any other form of age validation. The Renter agrees to furnish proof of parental consent in the case that the model is under the age of 18 years.

Studio shall have the right to inspect the equipment and/or studio at any time during the rental term. If a breach of any of the provisions of the Rental Contract occurs, Studio has the right to revoke your access to the equipment and/or studio without any liability to you, and without prejudice to Studio, the right to receive rent due or accrued to, including date of revocation.

By signing the rental agreement, the renter agrees to:

Actual arrival and departure will count as actual rental time if arriving before or leaving after the agreed upon rental times | Be Respectful of our Neighbors at all Times during Rental | Keep the event contained within the studio | Maintain adult supervision of minors at all times | Do not occupy the shared car park space | Clean up trash or other items on premises prior to leaving| Renter understand that his personal details (email and name) will not be shared with third party, email will be only used to communicate with renter and send her/him monthly updates from 50Hz Photography and/or PhotoWalkExpedition.
